Piss On It

Posted: January 28, 2012 in Foolishness

I’m doing a lot of rough draft posts right now, because I’ve just done a wealth of drawing in the past few days.  Nothing serious, mostly quick doodles.  Thing is coming up with Post titles for all this crap.  Sometimes they work, sometimes it’s a miss.  I call this one “Piss On It”.  Get out of the way!

Crap

Crap???  Yeah crap!  These two ink sketches are really bad.  Not up to my usual high-quality psychedelic science fiction laden stuff.  Why show them then?  Cause sometimes when the old artistic Mojo ain’t working ya just got to admit it and see it for what it is.

These two ink sketches just didn’t work, and came off poorly.  Maybe there’s some good ideas in there somewhere.  Maybe with a little better composition, not to mention possibly doing a pencil rough before letting it rip, these could turn into something.  Who knows?

Maybe I should go back to the old drawing board with these.  Or better yet, Learn to Draw 🙂  But then again it’s better to draw than to not draw.

Firefox II

Having a bunch of ink drawings laying around is kinda like having a coloring book of your own.  And like those coloring books we had as children, it’s still great fun coloring and staying within the lines.  This is the colorized version of my Firefox drawing done with colored pencils.

I couldn’t think of a title for this one either.  There’s got to be some meaning in there somewhere…ya think?   Then I looked up to the top of my computer screen where a tab said Add New Post.  Nice to be reminded what you’re doing once in a while.  But right next to the left of it was a orange tab that said Firefox.  Perfect!

I Don’t Know

What’s a trip, is to just draw something and not really know what it’s all about.  I post the drawing first, and then had to come up with a title.  I couldn’t think of a title.  I Don’t Know.
